About Me!

Greetings Blogosphere!

Since this is my first post on here, instead of diving right into my projects, I'll start off by telling you a bit about myself and, frankly, this blog! I'm a (nearly) 21 year old college student born and raised in Ohio, and my passion is anything design!

Even though I'm an Interior Design major, and most of what I focus on is aesthetics, for the love of everything that is good and holy, please don't call me a decorator, haha.

It's way more complicated than that. Probably the best way to easily (and quickly) explain it to you is that I do similar work that architects do (with codes and regulations too), I just do interiors as well and have an eye for anything artsy! My original plan was to double-major in Architecture as well as Interior Design, but to my dismay, I was informed that doing so would tack on an addition 5 years to my 4 year degree... yea not happening, my scholarships only last for 4 years and the majors overlap anyways.

Any-whoo (my rant is over, haha)

Having a mother who's always loved using power tools has made me quite the construction-savvy gal, which has definitely come in handy throughout my design adventures! That is why this blog is dedicated not only to my design projects I've completed in school and my real-life freelance design jobs that I do, but also the DIY stuff i do for my projects. Considering that my freelance jobs are entirely my own start-to-finish, and I do plenty of DIY projects, I'll be blogging about those separate projects that I hope become Pinterest-worthy!
